What a realistic CCTV system for a house looks like.

The figures below are an indicative range for this type of property, not statistics from completed jobs: we do not have reference projects yet (see the References section on the homepage). Your situation will differ; the range is a good starting point for a first conversation.

Technology

Our standard is UniFi Protect.

For households we focus on discretion and simple phone control. UniFi Protect offers a local NVR without a mandatory cloud subscription - the recording stays at home.

Alternatives:
Ajax / Dahua (lower upfront cost, fewer AI features - we explain the difference before you decide)

  • 01 Mobile app with motion notifications - you see who rang the bell
  • 02 Local NVR at home, no mandatory monthly cloud fee
  • 03 Night vision with person, vehicle and animal detection
  • 04 Discreet camera design, no visible cabling
  • 05 Optional integration with the doorbell and smart home system

Process

Consultation, design, installation, service. Fixed price after the second step.

Even for a house we start with an inspection (free of charge, within 7 days), then a proposal with camera positions and a fixed price. Installation usually takes one day.

Frequently asked questions

Before you contact us.

Can I see the recording when I am not at home?
Yes, the mobile app works from anywhere with a notification when motion is detected.
What happens if the internet goes down?
The NVR keeps recording locally; you only lose remote viewing temporarily - nothing is lost.
Won't the cameras also capture my neighbours?
We design the camera angles to cover your own property - that is part of the design, not an afterthought.
Do I need to report cameras at a house to any authority?
No, the notification duty to the Czech data protection office ended with GDPR in 2018. Rules on capturing public space or neighbouring land still apply, though.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the number of cameras, house type and scope. After the consultation you receive a fixed price by email, not an estimate. Consultation and design are free of charge.
