Typical project
What a realistic CCTV system for a hotel looks like.
The figures below are an indicative range for this type of property, not statistics from completed jobs: we do not have reference projects yet (see the References section on the homepage). Your situation will differ; the range is a good starting point for a first conversation.

Technology
Our standard is UniFi Protect.
For hotels the key is role-based access - reception, security and management each need to see something different. UniFi Protect handles this natively, with encrypted storage and no third-party cloud holding guest data.
Alternatives:
Dahua / Ajax (for smaller guesthouses with a limited budget - we explain transparently what that means for AI features and service)
- 01 Multi-administrator access - reception, security and management separately
- 02 Encrypted storage, no third-party cloud holding guest data
- 03 AI detection of people and vehicles at the entrance and reception
- 04 Optional integration with staff attendance
- 05 Remote oversight for owners with several properties
Process
Consultation, design, installation, service. Fixed price after the second step.
For hotels we plan installation so it does not disrupt operations - inspection (free of charge, within 7 days), then a proposal with a fixed price and a phased schedule.
Detailed description of the process →Frequently asked questions
Before you contact us.
- Are cameras allowed in guest rooms?
- No. Cameras belong in shared areas - reception, corridors, garages - never in guest rooms.
- How long is the recording kept?
- The period must be justified by operational need - for hotels typically days to a few weeks, not months without a specific reason.
- Can the owner see the reception feed remotely too?
- Yes, access rights are set by role - reception sees the live feed, the owner also has the archive.
- Is an information sign required for guests too?
- Yes, at every entry point to the monitored area - reception, entrance, garage - with a pictogram and the controller's contact details.
- How much does it cost?
- It depends on hotel size, number of cameras and retention. After the consultation you receive a fixed price by email, not an estimate. Consultation and design are free of charge.
